Design oriented from an early age, Laura has always been creating. Her favorite things as a child were putting together pop-up books for her siblings, working puzzles and building with Legos. It came as no surprise to her family when she announced in middle school that she intended to study architecture.
Growing up in northern New Jersey, Laura enjoyed visiting the museums in NYC. Her favorite museum was MOMA, thus fueling her passion for modern art and design. Laura graduated from Miami University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Architecture and a Minor in Interactive Media Studies. While she was studying building design, her interest was kindled in other areas of creativity as well. She joined the Miami University Fashion Club where she designed a line of clothing and participated in a fashion show. Following her love of fashion, she began her career in retail management and visual merchandising where customer service and understanding her client’s needs was a key part of her everyday work.
After excelling in visual merchandising and obtaining a fashionable wardrobe, Laura decided to return to her roots in architecture. At PKDG Laura uses her creativity to produce 3D models and fly-around videos of PKDG projects. In addition to art and design, Laura’s hobbies include baking, running, kickball and traveling.
