One of the most renowned home designers in Central Florida, Jim has been creating award-winning designs for 40+ years. He has designed homes for TV personalities, sport celebrities, and his “Net-Zero” home, “The Greenovation of Terra Verde” was featured on TV in 2012. Known for his innovation, design balance, and attention to detail, Jim is an expert in new home design, remodeling, designs for indoor/outdoor living and “Net-Zero” designs.
Jim earned his Professional Building Designer Certification (CPBD) by examination through the National Council of Building Designer Certification. He is also a Certified Green Professional. His projects have been widely recognized with multiple American Residential Design Awards, Aurora Awards, and Orlando Homebuyer Design Awards.
Passionate about the continued improvement of the building environment, Jim is active in organizations that support building design excellence. He is the founder and Immediate Past President of the American Institute of Building Design’s (AIBD) Florida Society. He has served the AIBD on its Ethics Committee, as Chancellor of the College of Fellows, and as a delegate to the National Convention. Jim also founded the Designers Council at the Greater Orlando Builders’ Association. In addition, he has been Chairman of the Design Concept Awards program held each year at the South East Builders Conference.
